IICRC stands for Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification. It is a nonprofit organization dealing with the cleaning and restoration industry. This organization was founded in 1972 by Ed York. The organization has grown globally with more than 6,000 certified firms around the world. There are close to 60,000 certified technicians who are active in the organization.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The IICRC is managed by a board of directors. The shareholders of the organization are the ones who elect the 15 people to the board of directors. The 15 people who are elected to the board of directors are industry leaders. They lead the direction of the organization and represent the interests of the various registrants around the world. The IICRC board of directors usually meet four times a year to discuss things they want to keep the same and things they want to change within the organization. The board helps to uphold industry standards and shape future policies of the organization.

HEADQUARTERS OF THE IICRC
The IICRC headquarters is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their headquarters is in a building called Global Resource Center. In this building the IICRC has their administrative services for all their technicians and employees. They have an education department with approved instructors and schools, no matter if the new employee wants to learn about water damage central Maryland or about damage in another country. In the Global Resource Center building the IICRC also houses their marketing and human resources in the building. They also have rooms there for meetings of all kinds. The organization likes to train their technicians in this building, no matter where the new employee wants to work and live.
