There was a need to create a shared performance management system that also encouraged senior bankers to take responsibility for the performance management role within their business groups. We created and introduced a competency based system within the investment banking senior team for onward implementation through the organisation. We worked as "coaches" for the senior directors to help them to understand how the theory worked in practice and how to coach their own teams to take on board the expectations with regard to competencies in their real day to day jobs as well as how to set goals and support and manage people to achieve what they set out to do.

We also worked with this client to manage the culture change programme that was introduced on the appointment of a new CEO to ensure strategy was communicated clearly and regularly.
